Kimmie to get a taste of NASCAR action!
Tuesday, September 19th, 2006This weekend, TNT’s Wally Dallenbach will take 2006 World Champion figure skater Kimmie Meissner for a twirl around the track in another segment of Wally’s World.
NASCAR coverage starts on Saturday, September 23 at 3 p.m. ET with NASCAR Busch Series Racing from Dover presented by New York Life and continues on Sunday, September 24 at 12:30 p.m. ET with the Bank of America Countdown the Green.
*If I can catch it, I will try to put up a video of the segment on “Wally’s World”. Sounds like it’ll be a fun experience for Kimmie!
There’s no keeping up with Kimmie Meissner
Monday, September 11th, 2006Kimmie Meissner just might be the strongest human being on the face of the planet.
That’s right, I’m talking about a 16-year-old girl, the one whose parents drive her everywhere she goes, the one who competes in a glittery skirt, the one who’s barely a senior in high school.
Sounds absurd, doesn’t it? I used to think so, too.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I agreed to lift weights with the world champion skater. She thought it’d teach me just how physically demanding the sport of figure skating can be, and I thought it’d be a chance to finally mix some sequins into my wardrobe.
