More on Kimmie’s endorsement deals
Wednesday, January 31st, 2007Press Release
America’s newest teenage figure skating sensation, Kimmie Meissner, who claimed her first national title at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships this past weekend in Spokane, Wash., has now landed three major endorsement deals.
Meissner, 17, who is also the reigning World Champion, will appear in her first national TV commercial with Subway, the sandwich food chain. In addition, she signed pacts with Under Armour, Inc., an athletic clothing company, and Visa.
“I am really excited about working with Subway. I eat there every day after practice,” Meissner says. “I am also excited about Under Armour. I like wearing their clothes for practice, to work out and to school. I am really proud of the Visa deal. It’s nice to be honored in the same way as someone like Michelle Kwan, who has always been my role model.”

Kimmie Meissner signs endorsement deal with Under Armour
Tuesday, January 30th, 2007It was announced earlier today that Kimmie has signed an endorsement deal with Under Armour Inc. The terms of the contract state that Kimmie will be exclusively outfitted in Under Armour women’s performance gear during training and non-competition ice time.
“Not only do I share a home state with Under Armour, but I also share a common goal – to perform my best whenever I step on the ice. When I wear Under Armour it wicks moisture away and keeps me warm on the ice and cool in the gym.”
Congrats, Kimmie!
