Kimmie to skate Exhibition at UD on March 3
Wednesday, February 7th, 2007World and national champion Kimmie Meissner will be featured at a University of Delaware World Figure Skating Send-Off Exhibition to be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at the Fred Rust Ice Arena.
Tickets are $15 for the general public and $12 for senior citizens 62 and older, children 18 and younger, and UD faculty and staff, and can be purchased at UD box offices at the Trabant University Center or the Bob Carpenter Center, or through Ticketmaster [www.ticketmaster.com]. Tickets are $10 for groups of 10 or more. Call (302) 831-6038 to make group arrangements.
It is highly recommended that tickets be purchased in advance because the national send-off exhibition held in January sold out.

Kimmie to skate at Four Continents Championships
Friday, February 2nd, 2007Skaters for the upcoming Four Continents Championships were announced Tuesday with world champion Kimmie Meissner, Olympian Emily Hughes, US men’s champion Evan Lysacek and Olympic ice dance runners-up Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto leading the US team.
The event, featuring skaters from Asia, Africa, Australia and North America, will be staged in Colorado Springs, CO February 7-10. It will serve as a partial preview for the world championships in March at Tokyo.
