Kimmie finishes 2nd in Paris, secures Grand Prix Final spot

Kimmie Meissner scored a 158.74 overall to finish 2nd at this weekend’s Trophee Bompard grand prix competition. Japan’s Mao Asada maintained her lead from the short program to win comfortably with 179.80 points.

Both Mao and Kimmie fell during their free skates.

With her silver in Paris, Kimmie has secured a spot in the Grand Prix Final in Torino, Japan from December 13-16.
